Special training for specialized industries

Certain industries in our area present particularly hot opportunities and have intensive training needs. San Jac has answered the call. We have formed strong partnerships with these select industry organizations to provide the latest, most specialized training.

Maritime

To meet the needs of an industry that’s growing about 10% every year, we’ve partnered with the West Gulf Maritime Association along with the Port of Houston Authority and International Longshoreman’s Association. Training concentrates on new technology and safety in marine terminal operations for longshoremen, industrial truck operators, clerks, checkers, gang and walking foremen, container handlers and yard tractor operators.

Nondestructive Testing (NDT) and Inspection

We are currently facing a 30% shortage of professionals who are qualified to provide testing and inspection to the petrochemical and power industries. To help fill the void and help talented individuals capitalize on this opportunity, we’ve partnered with the Association of Plant Inspection Professionals. We are in the process of training hundreds of new inspectors and technicians and upgrading the skills of hundreds more.

Petrochemical and Refining

We work with several partners in the petrochemical and refining industries to provide thousands of workers with training for operations, IT, leadership, Lean Six Sigma and root cause analysis.
