ISO 50001:2011 Understanding and Implementing Energy Management System

This course is designed to provide a step-by-step method to guide an organization in the implementation of an Energy Management System in accordance with the ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management Systems Standard. It has been developed to give the participants a set of tools that will allow them to design and implement an Energy Management System (EnMS) within their organizations.

The course will provide a framework through the use of specially defined tools and activities so that the participant can immediately return to their organization and begin the process of developing and implementing their own Energy Management Systems (EnMS).

Length: 2 days                                     CEUs: 1.4

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Explain and discuss the purpose and importance of an ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS)
  • Develop a framework for the implementation of an Energy Management System in accordance with the ISO 50001 Standard for their organization.
