CPD & Meningitis Vaccinations

Do I need to get a meningitis shot to take a CPD course?

 
The new law that requires all new, incoming Texas college students to receive a vaccination or booster against bacterial meningitis does not apply to most students who will take San Jacinto College Continuing and Professional Development classes.

Students who are enrolled in Continuing and Professional Development courses or corporate training programs that are less than 360 contact hours are not required to submit evidence of receiving the vaccination against bacterial meningitis or evidence of receiving a booster dose.

However, all incoming Continuing and Professional Development students taking "linked" courses are required to receive meningitis vaccinations.
