Genie Bradley
Because donors like you believe in the San Jacinto College Foundation, you believe in people like me who want to go out into the world and make a difference.”
Genie Bradley
John S. Dunn Foundation, Albert and Ethel Herzstein Charitable Foundation, and John P. McGovern Foundation scholarships recipient.
Both Genie Bradley and her husband attended San Jac. They are each helpers in their own ways. Genie’s husband re-enlisted in the U.S. military and Genie studied to become a registered nurse. The scholarships the Foundation awarded her helped her achieve her graduation dreams so she has  job security wherever they are stationed.

5 Reasons to Support San Jacinto College

  1. We Empower Our Community

We are champions of growth for the local economy. That is why we work closely with the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, Economic Alliance Houston Port Region, and the Greater Houston Partnership. We understand that a strong local economy means more jobs in our communities. And that by building up our communities, we enrich the lives of those who live and work here.

  2. We are Committed to Student Success

We are confident in our education and work here at San Jac. So much so, that we align courses so that their academic credit will transfer to most Texas public colleges and universities. We also have a commitment to our technical students that they will acquire job skills at San Jac that will prepare them for entry-level employment in their fields.

  3. We Make Education Accessible

San Jac has an affordable, flat tuition model, with no hidden fees. Not only does this help our students afford their education, but that transparency also means your donation goes further.

  4. We are a Top-Rated College

For the fourth consecutive time, San Jac is an Aspen Institute Top 10 Finalist for the prestigious Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence. The Aspen Institute considers more than 1,100 colleges nationwide and ranks them in areas including degree completion and success in the workforce.

  5. We Have a Program for Everybody

We offer over 200 degree and certification programs — along with dozens of continuing education courses. Our students get the training and tools needed to succeed both in transfer and many career options in our community.
