The College’s financial position in fiscal year (FY) 2025 continues to remain strong with total net position of $78.9 million, which is a slight decrease of $0.5 million or 0.6% less than FY 2024. Below is a comparative graph of revenues and expenses for the last two fiscal years. Grants, contracts, and federal revenue were higher in FY 2025 due to higher Pell Grant awards to students, which are also reflected in scholarships expense. Investment income decreased 22.4% due to declining interest rates, which were offset by other increases in revenue needed to cover rising operating costs due to inflation and higher enrollment, student support, and competitive performance pay for faculty and staff.
This is an overview of the College’s financial operations for the fiscal years ended Aug. 31, 2025 and 2024. Most of the information contained within this Report to the Community is extracted from the financial information contained within the FY 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
